Runners can choose between a challenging Half Marathon, featuring a two-loop course, or a 7.5 Miler that takes you through one loop of the beautiful, well-groomed trails at Proud Lake State Recreation Area. As the sixth race in the exciting Trivium Michigan Mega Medal Series, participants have the chance to collect impressive medals that combine to form one giant Mega Medal at the end of the year. Join Trivium Racing for our Thanksgiving weekend tradition! Relax on Thanksgiving and hit the trails for your holiday race on Black Friday with a Half Marathon or 7.5 Miler. Join us on the beautiful, well-groomed trails of Proud Lake State Recreation Area and leave the crowds to the mall! One of the best parts about Black Toenail Friday Half and 7.5 Mile is sleeping in. With an 11:00 AM start time, you can relax and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner knowing you have plenty of time before the starting gun goes off the next morning. The Half Marathon is a two loop course; the 7.5 Miler completes one of those laps.
