Join us for the inaugural Bluebelly Dash 5K on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Sparks, Washoe! This exciting community event at Beasley Elementary invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate in a fun-filled race that supports a great cause. Whether you're a seasoned runner or tackling your first 5K, this event is designed for everyone. Proceeds from the race will directly contribute to refurbishing Bud Beasley Elementary's playground, ensuring that every child has access to ADA-compliant play equipment and sensory areas.
Participants will receive a custom 3D printed medal, and the first 125 registrants will also snag a race shirt! Adult registration is just $35, while youth ages 5 to 17 can join for $25. Please note that parts of the course feature uneven terrain, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear. Strollers and dogs, unfortunately, cannot be accommodated on the course for safety reasons. The Blue Belly Dash 5K is Beasley Elementary's first-ever community race open to school-aged students and adults. Whether you're a seasoned runner or this is your very first 5K, you belong here.
Proceeds go directly toward refurbishing Bud Beasley Elementary's playground with ADA-compliant play equipment and sensory areas so every single Beasley student has a place to play, move, and thrive.
Every registered participant receives:
