Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Boca YMCA Splash & Dash, taking place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in beautiful Boca Raton, Palm Beach! This vibrant youth event is designed to encourage kids to stay active while having a blast. The race kicks off at 7:30 AM, so make sure to arrive by 6:45 AM to get settled in. Participants will compete in age-appropriate distances, with 5-7 year-olds swimming 50 yards and running 0.5 miles, 8-11 year-olds tackling a 100-yard swim followed by a 1-mile run, and those aged 12 and older completing a 150-yard swim and a 1-mile run.
With the race sanctioned by USA Triathlon, young athletes will enjoy a professionally organized event, ensuring a memorable experience. Don’t forget that an annual USAT membership is required for all participants, available for just $10 during registration. Join us for the YMCA's Youth Splash & Dash on Sunday, June 1 at the Peter Blum Family YMCA. The race starts at 7.30am and all participants need to be there by 6.45am.
Age Group Distances:
5-7 yrs - 50 yard swim & 0.5 mile run
8-11yrs -100 yard swim & 1 mile run
12+ -150 yard swim & 1 mile run
*This will be based on the age of the kids race day.
The race will be manually timed through an app. Only the total time will be given.
This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. This means that all participants will need to purchase an annual USAT membership at the cost of $10, if they do not already have one. This will be paid during the registration process.
