The proceeds of this year's event will benefit the Bonita F. Stanton, M.D., Scholarship Endowment Fund, which will provide vital scholarships to the talented future physicians accepted into the highly sought after Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
A beloved colleague, physician, mentor and educator, Bonita F. Stanton, M.D., was the founding dean of Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and a true inspiration to all who knew her. She was a prolific researcher, author and educator. It is impossible to overstate her role in bettering and saving untold lives over the course of her career as a pediatrician and medical education visionary. A true leader of positive change, Dean Stanton envisioned a world in which every person - in her own words - could have access to excellent health outcomes and well-being" in the State of New Jersey and beyond.
