Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 42nd Annual St. Paddy's Five Miler on Sunday, March 9, 2025, in the heart of Spokane at Spokane Community College! This exciting event promises a festive atmosphere as participants tackle the official qualifying race for 2nd seeding at Bloomsday 2025. Runners will follow the same scenic out-and-back route from last year, with an exhilarating 5-mile challenge awaiting them.
The day kicks off with a fun-filled "Lucky Leprechaun Jig" for kids aged 6 and under at 10:30 AM, where every little participant will receive a ribbon to celebrate their effort. Following the race at 11:00 AM, join us for an awards ceremony acknowledging the top male and female finishers, as well as masters and age group winners. Stick around for the thrilling prize drawings at 11:15 AM, featuring a chance to win a $250 cash prize and other exciting giveaways—just remember, you must be present to win! With registration options available until race day, including a shirt package and run-only choices, this event is the perfect way to kick off your spring running season with joy and community spirit!

Come and race, ye lads and lasses! The 2025 BRRC 42nd Annual St. Paddy's Five Miler will be a jig of a time. By popular demand, the St. Paddy's 5 Miler is back again at Spokane Community College. The same out & back route as last year 2024. This is an official qualifying race for 2nd SEEDING at BLOOMSDAY 2025. Qualifying times: Women 37:00 and Men 31:00. AT 10:30 AM THERE WILL BE A "LUCKY LEPRECHAUN JIG" FOR KIDS 6 YEARS OLD AND UNDER. ALL RUNNERS IN THE LEPRECHAUN JIG WILL RECEIVE A RIBBON. At 11:00 am there will be an Awards ceremony: Overall Male & Female, Maters (40+) Top Male & Female. Top 3 Male & Female in age groups 0-10,11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. At 11:15 am there will be prize drawings including a $250 cash prize and other prizes. MUST be present to WIN.

The Lucky Leprechaun Jig (approx. 50 meters) is for 6 year and under. All runners will receive a ribbon for participating. The run is free. A Kids youth shirt can be purchased separately for $13 if order by February 20th.
