THERE IS NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION FOR THIS RACE. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER ONLINE BY 7 MARCH 2026 BY 8:00 P.M.
10 12K race
_DISTANCE AND COURSE:_ This is an out-and-back course almost completely around Burke Lake. The start/finish is at the northern end of the Burke Lake Park Ice Cream Parlor/Merry-Go-Round parking lot on main roadway ("Start" is painted on road surface). The race proceeds clockwise around lake over mildly rolling terrain. The first half mile is on the paved main roadway. After crossing the small bridge, bear right onto the dirt path, keeping the lake on your right. Continue on dirt path (watch for tree roots and protruding rocks!). Proceed for another three miles to turnaround and then proceed counterclockwise around lake back to the start/finish. The turnaround is past the earthen dam and is approximately 200 yards past the 4.0 mile marker (if you reach the public marina, you've gone too far!).
