* ABOUT THE EVENT
The inaugural Camas Lions Oktoberfest brings together runners, families, and local businesses for a 5K and 10K run/walk along the scenic Columbia River trails, followed by a festive Cheers for a Cause Oktoberfest Biergarten with live music.

Runners and walkers of all levels are encouraged to participate.

Families and company teams are welcome. Kids under 12 participate for free.

Come in your favorite Oktoberfest outfit!

Prizes will be given away.

WHY WE RUN
100% of net proceeds stay local and directly support:

AWARDS & GIFTS
Every finisher will receive a medal featuring the race logo.
Registration fees include a commemorative gift mug - Only 100 mugs will be given away.

Overall and Top 3 for age groups will receive additional medal. 1st place runners will receive additional prize.

"Best Oktoberfest outfit" award will be given after the race.

"Largest Team" will receive preferred seating at the Biergarten by live music.

Top team for 5K and 10K will be awarded perpetual plaque (to be engraved and displayed at 54 40 Beer).

ENTERTAINMENT
Stay after the run/walk for live music. Participants age 21 and over will receive one free beer upon completion of the run/walk in the Biergarten. Participants under 21 will receive one free root beer.

EVENT TIME & ROUTE
10K Start: 10:00 AM
5K Start: 10:15 AM

The bibs will be chipped and official times will be sent to runners after the run.

The route is primarily flat. Slower runners and walkers are asked to stay to the right.

Both races start at 54 40 Beer, short portion is on street (caution as cars may be on road), and then continue along the Captain William Clark Park Trail. The 5K turns around along the trail, while the 10K continues to a turnaround point. Both races finish at 54 40 Beer. Flaggers will be stationed at key intersections, with directional signs, flags, and mile markers placed along the route.

REGISTRATION
Register online via RunSignUp and complete the required waiver. Race-day registration is available; electronic and cash payments only (no checks accepted).

PARKING
Parking is limited to street parking, with potential access to nearby parking lots next to 54 40 Beer. Participants are encouraged to arrive 3045 minutes prior to their race start time for bib pickup and warm-up.

Event T-shirts will be available for purchase for $20 (optional).

WATER STATIONS
Water will be available at turn around points as well as at the start/finish area.

The Camas Lions have partnered with 54 40 Beer to offer food and beverages for purchase at the start/finish area.

RESTROOMS
Port-a-potties and 54 40 Beer restrooms will be available at the start/finish area. Public park restrooms are also located along the route.
