Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in style at the Carmel Freedom Run on Friday, July 4th, 2025! This exciting event takes place in the charming city of Carmel, Hamilton, and features both a 4.5-mile run and a 1.5-mile run/walk, perfect for participants of all fitness levels. New for 2025, the race will be hosted at Upland Brewing and Pies & Pints in Clay Terrace, offering a festive atmosphere to kick off the holiday weekend.
Join friends and family for a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit! All finishers aged 21 and over will receive a free drink ticket for a refreshing beer at Upland Brewing or Pies & Pints, while sweet coffee treats from Java House will be available on-site. Participants will also receive soft-style shirts and, for the first time, finisher medals for both distances! Plus, there are overall and age-group awards for our speedy competitors. The race routes showcase the scenic streets of downtown Carmel and the beautiful Monon Trail, making for a memorable experience. Don’t forget to bring the kids, as there’s a FREE fun run for children 10 and under, and families of three or more can

Join the fun with your friends and family at this classic run/walk, then enjoy some post-race refreshments! In addition to water, Gatorade and snack options, all finishers (21+) can use their FREE DRINK TICKET for a beer at UPLAND BREWING or PIES & PINTS! JAVA HOUSE will also be on-site with Sweet Coffee treats available (first come first served or while supplies last).
SOFT-STYLE SHIRTS are included for all, and for the first time we will be offering FINISHER MEDALS for the 4.5-milers and 1.5-milers! We also offer OVERALL AND AGE-GROUP AWARDS to our faster competitors!
