Join us on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 8:30 AM on campus at Girard College for the inaugural Charles Warren Stanley Memorial 5K Walk/Runa cross-country style event held in memory of Charles Stan Stanley, Girard College Class of 1967.
A proud Philadelphia native, Stan was a devoted member of the Hums cross-country and track teams during his time at Girard. He was known not only for his athletic talent, but also for his dedication, team spirit, and unwavering loyalty to his classmates. This event is a tribute to his legacy, and an opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate his life and support the future of Girard athletics.
