This exciting event is part of our "Race to End World Hunger" initiative, combining fun and fitness for a great cause. Runners will take on the 5K course, and every finisher will receive a unique rubber chicken finisher medal, making this race truly one-of-a-kind.

We're also thrilled to introduce our Kid's Dash, a short 100-200 meter sprint designed for our youngest participants to experience the thrill of racing without the pressure of a long course. All participants will receive event-themed t-shirts, and those who sign up for the Kid's Dash will have the option to earn a finisher medal. With age group awards for the top three finishers in various divisions, including special trophies for overall winners and masters categories, the Chicken Chase 5000 promises to be a memorable day of community spirit and friendly competition. Our _FIRST ANNUAL_ "RACE TO END WORD HUNGER" event will be none other than... THE CHICKEN CHASE 5000!! Finishers will recieve a _UNIQUE RUBBER CHICKEN FINISHER MEDAL_! Place top three in you age group and win an _ADDITIONAL MEDAL_!
Sign your kiddos up for our BRAND NEW KID'S DASH! This is a short 100-200 meter sprint prior to the start of the race to give our little ones the opportunity to experience the racing environment without the pressure of a seemingly long, endless course. Dashers receive participation shirts, and will have the option to add finisher medal to their registration.
