Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Chitimacha - Running Series Governor's Games on Wednesday, October 1, 2025! This vibrant event will take place in Charenton, St. Mary, starting at 5:45 PM at the Chitimacha Sports Complex. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young runners, as races are designed for every grade level from Pre-K through 8th grade.

Participants can look forward to a variety of race distances: the littlest runners (Pre-K and under) will dash a lively 1/4 mile, while Kindergarteners, 1st, and 2nd graders will take on a fun 1/2 mile. As they grow, so do the challenges—3rd through 6th graders will run a full mile, and 7th and 8th graders will tackle a 1-1/2 mile course. There’s even a special 1/4 mile challenge for participants with special needs, ensuring everyone can join in the excitement!
