This one's for the girls! The Chocolate & Diamonds 5k for Ladies will be held in Russellville, Arkansas, on Saturday, May 3, 2025. While it will serve as the Runnersville Ladies Training Camp graduation event, registration is open to all females. We are excited that for many of our registrants, this will be their very first 5k.



The race includes fun music from Some DJ Named Robb, chipped race timing, a race shirt, supportive coaches on the route, a water station, a finisher's medal that will leave others green with envy, decadent Ghirardelli chocolate and chocolate milk at the finish line, and the coolest group of female racers in one place, so don't miss out.



We have top finisher and age group awards for both walkers and runners in the Runnersville division (Runnersville participants) and the Open division (those who are not participating in the Runnersville Ladies Training Camp). Remember, if you sign up as a walker, you cannot run even one step or you can be disqualified. If you sign up as a runner, you can run or walk.



This is a stroller-friendly race. If you will be pushing a child in a stroller during the race, we ask that you line up on the right side of the starting chute and stay to the right until the racers begin to spread out.



Unauthorized walkers / runners ("bandits"), bicycles (other than official event-designated support cyclists), roller skates, skate boards, scooters, hoverboards and pets are not allowed on the race course with the exception of Coach Sophie, our Wonder Girl therapy dog.



We encourage you to register by midnight on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, to be guaranteed a race shirt in your desired size. We are placing our final shirt order early on April 24. While we order extras, we have to guess at how many and what sizes we will need; these "extra" shirts will be distributed based on availability and the order in which ladies register for the race from April 24 to when race registration closes on Friday, May 2 at noon. Spots are limited, and if we reach race capacity, we will close registration.

Our starting line is on West E Street in Russellville, near the intersection of North Glenwood Avenue (behind the UPS Store). The route heads east on West E Street, turns left onto North El Paso, let onto West L Street, right onto N Glenwood, right onto West R, right onto Coliseum Drive, cuts through campus via a wide sidewalk that leads to N El Paso, goes through two sets of arches by Baswell Hall, resumes onto N El Paso back to West E Street where it all began.



Parking areas are available along El Paso Ave, and more information will be provided about designated parking closer to race day. The parking lot at the UPS Store is reserved for UPS Store customers only.



Note that there is also a virtual option, but race packets will be only be mailed by request and at the expense of the race registrant. Virtual participants can complete the 5k between May 3 and May 25, 2025.



Packet pickup will be held at Feltners Athlete's Corner (2320 West Main in Russellville) from 3 to 6 pm on Thursday, May 1 and Friday, May 2. Participants from Russellville, Dardanelle, London, Dover, Pottsville, Atkins, and other nearby communities are asked to please pick up your packets at this time. To avoid long lines, race-day packet pickup is reserved for those traveling to the race from outside our area. Race-day packet pickup will be held in front of Nerf Blast at 407 N El Paso, which is near the race start/finish line.



In conjunction with the Chocolate & Diamonds 5k, we will be holding a cereal drive for River Valley Food 4 Kids (https://www.rivervalleyfood4kids.org/) [https://www.rivervalleyfood4kids.org/%29] to help alleviate hunger among children in our community. We invite you to drop off cereal, boxes of individually packaged oatmeal, and/or breakfast bars (granola bars, etc.) at packet pickup or on race morning.
