Last year, we had the pleasure of welcoming Instagram influencer Kim.Hiked.It and a group of local influencers who helped create an unforgettable experience. After conquering the trails, participants can unwind at Hike Fest, where you can soak in live music, delicious food and beverages, and connect with local community partners—all against the backdrop of Camelback's Summit House with its stunning views. This year's event embodies a spirit of respect and honor for the Indigenous People who once inhabited these lands. CLIMB POCONO - TO END CANCER
Last year we hosted our first annual Climb To Conquer Cancer Pocono event. Our 3 mile endurance hiking event took you from Camelback Resorts to Big Pocono State Park.
_Highlights included:_
* Instagram influencer Kim.Hiked.It joined us with a team of other local influencers in the area.
* A challenge of hiking up to PA state park, Big Pocono.
* A fun reward at Hike Fest! After your hike you relaxed with live music, food and beverage, local community partners, our CLIMB sign and a stunning view at Camelback's Summit House.
This year we have updated our name. This change has been made to honor the Indigenous People that once lived on our park lands. The word "conquer" held some negativity towards these people.

Sign up for the challenge of hiking from Camelback to the summit of Big Pocono State Park. Our family friendly, all inclusive, hiking event includes Survivor activities, live music, giveaways, and a day of adventure! Registration includes an event t-shirt! $25 Early Bird Special (now- 12/31/25) $35 Event Registration (1/1/26-4/19/2026) $40 Late Registration (4/20/26-5/16/26) *Signing up day of does not include guaranteed t-shirt size Saturday May 16, 2026 8am-12pm Starting point Camelback parking lot D6 (look for event signs) Hike is a little over 3 miles to the Summit of Big Pocono State Park up the road. Estimated elevation gain is 600 feet. The hike is on a paved road. See additional hikes on the main page. Don't worry we shuttle you back down! 8am Arrive/ Registration Check In in lot D6 9am After getting hyped up we have a shot gun start and we hike to the top Make your way to the top and join us for Hike Fest! Survivor Tent for Survivors 11am Shuttles start to take you back down to your car start at the Summit House 12pm That's a wrap! We can't wait to see you next year!
