This heartfelt event invites participants to engage in a 6-hour untimed run, walk, or ruck, honoring over 450 Colorado military service members who sacrificed their lives since the onset of the Global War on Terror.
With no pressure to compete, every participant can move at their own pace, dedicating each mile to a fallen hero, as their name, rank, and date of loss are read aloud in a solemn tribute. This unique event not only fosters community spirit but also ensures that the memory of these brave individuals lives on. All ages and fitness levels are welcome, and each participant will receive an event t-shirt. JOIN US ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2025, AT PALMER LAKE REGIONAL RECREATION AREA FOR THE 7TH ANNUAL COLORADO RUN FOR THE FALLENa 6-hour untimed run/walk/ruck hosted by the Honor and Remember Colorado Chapter. This moving tribute honors over 450 Colorado military service members who made the ultimate sacrifice since the start of the Global War on Terror.
EVENT OVERVIEW:
This is not a racethere are no chips, no clocks, and no pressure. Whether you move 1 mile or all 6 hours, your presence honors a fallen hero. Each mile is dedicated to an individual service member, with their name, rank, and date of loss read aloud, followed by a ceremonial salute.

Proceeds support Honor and Remembers mission, including the presentation of personalized Honor and Remember Flags to Gold Star families in Colorado.
