Taking place in the heart of Corydon, Iowa, this exciting one-mile race invites runners and walkers of all ages to join in the fun. Starting and finishing on Corydon Square, near the iconic Wayne Theater, participants will enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with community spirit.
Not only will there be medals awarded to the top three finishers in each gender, but there's also a unique prediction contest where participants guess their race time—no watches or phones allowed! Show off your patriotic spirit for a chance to win a medal as the "most patriotic" runner by dressing up in your best red, white, and blue attire. All entry fees and donations will support the Wayne JH/HS Cross Country Program and Corydon's Fast and Furious Run Club. Be sure to register early to guarantee your race shirt, as sizes are limited after June 25th. Organiser's Description
A one-mile race to celebrate the 4th of July in Corydon, Iowa! Open to all runners and walkers of any age. Featuring medals for the top 3 finishers of each gender, a prediction contest (no watches/phones allowed!) and an award for "most patriotic" runner!
All entry fees and donations will go to support the Wayne JH/HS Cross Country Program and Corydon's Fast and Furious Run Club.
Medals will be given out to the top 3 overall finishers in each general (no age-group categories)
We will also have a prediction contest where all entrants will give a predicted time (given during on-site bib pick up or registration) and the closest guess will earn a medal.
We will also give a medal to the most patriotic runner, so dress up and show your love of America during this event!.
