Organiser's Description
This course gives participants a breathtaking view of the city's skyline at sunset as they cross the Crescent City Connection rising to a height of more than 300 feet over the Mississippi River. Ending in Downtown New Orleans, the Crescent Connection "Bridge Run" is a favorite among both serious runners and walkers.
SCORING & AWARDS:
Overall awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female finishers in the Open Division. Awards will be given to the 1st Overall Male and Female finishers in the Masters, Grandmasters & Seniors divisions, as well as to the Top Male and Female finishers in each of the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-75, 75-80, 80 & over.
NOTE: No duplication of awards.
BUS TRANSPORTATION:
For those who park downtown, FREE shuttles will be available to bring race participants to the Westbank start line area from 3:30pm until 5:30pm. For those who park at the start on the west bank, free shuttle service will be provided following the race from the finish line area to the West bank from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
