Dan Otten Memorial 5k Run & Walk August 15, 2026 at 8am Hosted by Flight Deck Gymnastics In memory of late Celina cross country coach Dan Otten. All net proceeds will go to the Dan Otten Memorial Scholarship Fund. All Ages Welcome! Location: Mercer County Fairgrounds. Race will start and end on the horse track. Participants will have a variety of terrain from horse track to road to the grass of Westview Park. Check-in: Begin at 7:15 am on the west side of the race track. Race Fee: Early Bird Registration (Now through July 31st) - $20 w/ Shirt! Late Registration (July 31st-August 14th) - $20 w/ NO Shirt! Day of Registration (August 15th) - $25 w/ NO Shirt! Awards, Door Prizes, & extra refreshments will be at the Beer Tent. The Presentation of Awards and Door Prizes will begin at 9:15am. Must be present to win a door prize. Awards: Age categories listed below. Top three male and female finishers in each age group will medal, with top three male and female overall receiving higher quality items. 12 & Under 13-18 19-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60 & Over Participants will not be charged admission. Anyone coming in to watch the race after 8:00 a.m. will be charged for fair admission. Parking is free at the General Admission gate.
