Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun and fitness at the Delco Kids Triathlon on Saturday, August 22, 2026! This exciting event will take place at the Wallingford Swim and Racquet Club in Wallingford, Delaware, and is designed for young athletes aged 7-14. It’s the perfect introduction to triathlons, featuring a pool swim, a neighborhood bike ride, and a spirited run around the swim club.
Participants can look forward to two race distances: the 50-yard swim, 1.5-mile bike, and 0.5-mile run for kids aged 7-8, and the 100-yard swim, 1.5-mile bike, and 0.5-mile run for those aged 9-14. The day kicks off with swim waves starting at 8:15 AM, and beyond the race, there will be music, delicious food, and a vibrant community atmosphere. Best of all, 100% of net proceeds will benefit Hope for Hallie, supporting the mental health of our youth. With race entry, participants will receive a swag bag, finisher goodies, and a tasty pancake breakfast. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to encourage healthy habits

This is the perfect beginner triathlon! Kids ages 7-14 will begin with a pool swim, followed by a bike ride through the neighborhood, and end with a run around the swim club. There will be music, food, and fun as the community comes together for a great cause. 100% of net proceeds will go directly to Hope for Hallie, whose main focus is the mental health of our youth.

Volunteer responsibilities include helping with check-in, helping out in transition areas and along the bike/run routes, handing out awards, serving food, providing first aid, and other tasks. If you will be on site, please consider helping out!
