If you're looking for a lighter option, the 1-mile fun run is available for $20, or you can choose to be a "Sleep in Superhero" for $25, allowing you to support the cause from the comfort of your home while still receiving a t-shirt. Get your favorite hero costume ready for the 2025 Donate Life NC Hero Run! Join us in celebrating the hero in all of us as we run/walk/roll on the American Tobacco Trail in Durham and build awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation in NC!
RACE DESCRIPTION/DETAILS*:
The race will begin at Herndon Park in Durham. Runners and walkers will do an out and back on the American Tobacco Trail and end back at the park for refreshments and awards!
Parking is located at Herndon Park, 511 Scott King Road in Durham. Follow our signs to the starting line.
All funds go towards continued outreach and education statewide.
Registration Fees/Dates/Categories:
5K Run/Walk/Roll: $35.00 per person. Race registration includes a t-shirt, bib with timing chip and refreshments after the event.
