Join us for the exhilarating Dragon Run for Courage, taking place from September 1 to September 30, 2025, in the vibrant community of Royersford, Montgomery. This uplifting event features a 5K run/walk and a meaningful 1-mile option, welcoming participants of all ages, including walkers! The race course will take you through the scenic streets of Royersford, starting from the rear parking lot of the Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center at 400 S. Lewis Rd.
The Dragon Run for Courage aims to raise funds for The Conor McKenna Foundation and Jake's Dragon Foundation, both established in honor of brave young men who fought pediatric cancer. By participating, you'll help provide scholarships and support local families affected by childhood cancer. Plus, enhance your experience with The "14" Challenge—a virtual opportunity to show your support for Childhood Cancer Awareness throughout September by committing to run 14 miles, walk 14 minutes daily, or do 14 push-ups each day. Register by June 30, 2025, to save $5 on your registration and make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer!

WHO: Runners of all ages. Walkers are also invited to participate using the same course. The race will follow a slightly new this year through the streets of Royersford.
WHAT: Dragon Run for Courage 5K Run/Walk will benefit The Conor McKenna Foundation and Jake's Dragon Foundation. Conor and Jake both fought pediatric cancer in their teenage years. Their fight and courage are the basis for their respective foundations. The funds raised will provide a scholarship in Conor's name. In Jake's memory local pediatric cancer families will be supported through gift cards as well as funding research for pediatric cancer.
