With a mission close to our hearts, this event honors the journey of a beloved brother who bravely fought and overcame stage 4 testicular germ cell cancer. All proceeds will benefit the Dear Jack Foundation, helping young adults facing similar battles. We encourage participants, especially those near UT's campus, to walk or carpool to support this noble cause, as parking will be limited. Organiser's Description
Delta Sigma Pi is hosting a cancer awareness 5k on May 2nd. This event is especially meaningful to us as one of our brothers recently fought and beat stage 4 testicular germ cell cancer. Seeing someone so close to us go through this has inspired us to take action to support young adults in similar situations. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Dear Jack Foundation.
