Runners, history buffs, and families will come together on November 9, 2025, for the East Jersey Old Town 5K. Part of the RevolutionNJ Race Series, the event begins at 8:30 a.m. and offers a unique way to engage with New Jerseys Revolutionary War history. The race route includes the East Jersey Old Town Village, a collection of 1700's and 1800's buildings on the banks of the Raritan River.
The RevolutionNJ Race Series draws inspiration from Jonas Cattells legendary run to warn American troops of a British attack at Red Bank Battlefield. This race is one of six in the series, with additional events planned at various Revolutionary Historic sites throughout New Jersey.
Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, participants will experience a race that blends fitness, history, and community celebration. The event offers an interactive way to honor the region's past.
