Join us for the exhilarating "Eight for Eddie" event on Friday, April 18, 2025, in the vibrant city of El Paso! This exciting occasion features an 8K run and a 2K fun walk, both kicking off at 6:00 PM. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll, there’s something for everyone. The first 250 participants to register will secure their spot for just $35, with late registration available on April 17 and 18 for $40.

Participants can look forward to a spirited competition with trophies awarded to the top three males and females in various age categories, along with medals for the top three finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under to 70 and over. Don’t forget about early packet pick-up on April 17 from 12 PM to 6 PM at Up and Running, and race day packet pick-up from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM. Best of all, proceeds from this event will benefit a memorial fund for Eduardo Lurch Ramirez through the El Paso Community Foundation, making it a meaningful way to honor his memory while enjoying a fantastic day of fitness and community spirit.
