Join us for the vibrant Eight for Eddie event on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the heart of El Paso! This exciting day kicks off at 8:00 AM at Mesita Elementary, located at 3307 N Stanton. Participants can choose between a challenging 8K run or a fun-filled 2K walk, making it a perfect day for athletes and families alike.
All registered participants will receive a complimentary technical t-shirt if they sign up by April 8, so don’t miss out! Take advantage of early registration until April 16 for just $35, or register late for $40 on race day. Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female winners in the 8K, with additional medals for age group categories from 9 and under all the way to 70 and over. Early packet pick-up is available on April 17 from 1 PM to 6 PM at Up and Running, with race day pick-up from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. Best of all, proceeds from this event will benefit the Eduardo Lurch Ramirez Memorial Fund through the El Paso Community Foundation. Lace up your running shoes and be part of this meaningful celebration!
