The 2nd Annual Ewok and Run is a fundraising event for Teachers Pet.
Teacher's Pet is an innovative program that transforms the lives of at-risk youth by blending shelter dog care and welfare with Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and trauma-informed practices. By partnering with juvenile justice and community mental health settings, we offer a unique 10-week curriculum where students learn critical life skills, such as empathy, patience, and responsibility, through hands-on interaction with shelter dogs.
