Held every Tuesday evening at the beautiful New Hope Church Trailhead Park in Cary, North Carolina, the training sessions will not only focus on building endurance but also on fostering a love for running among young participants.
With a welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels, kids will be grouped by pace after a timed mile to ensure everyone can train comfortably. The cost of just $70 includes professional coaching, a personalized training plan, educational resources, a medal, and a training shirt. FALL 2026 KIDS 5K TRAINING IN CARY is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.
Class is 8 WEEKS LONG, meeting once per week, and is geared toward KIDS AGED 8-14 YEARS OLD. The goal of the class is to have fun, get healthy, and work their run endurance up to running a 5K at the end of the season. ALL levels & paces are welcome! Kids will be grouped in smaller pace groups after a timed mile so they can train with similar paces. Class will be capped at 40 registrants.
COST OF THE CLASS IS $70. NO REFUND AND NO DEFERRAL IF YOU DROP OUT OF THE CLASS AFTER REGISTERING. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER IF YOU'RE UNSURE OF YOUR CHILD'S SCHEDULE AND HAVE A POTENTIAL CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER ACTIVITY. NO CLASS SWITCHES AFTER REGISTERING.
COST INCLUDES: 8 weeks of 1 coached workout per week, a season training plan with suggested workouts on non-class days as well, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), educational information coordinated by The Running PTs, a medal, and a training shirt.
