Get ready for an exciting season of youth running with the Fall Session of the FIT 5 program, kicking off on Saturday, September 12, 2026, and running through Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Gainesville, Prince William! This dynamic program is designed for children ages 4 to 10, focusing on building confidence, athletic skills, and a love for running in a fun and supportive environment.
Participants can choose from two practice options: Saturdays from 9:15 to 10:15 AM or Sundays from 10:45 to 11:45 AM, with practice held at Gainesville Middle School Track. Race days, filled with excitement and camaraderie, are scheduled for September 26 and October 24 for Saturday runners, and September 27 and October 25 for those joining on Sundays. FIT 5 RUNNERS IS A YOUTH RUNNING PROGRAM FOUNDED AND LED BY _CERTIFIED EDUCATORS_ AND _USATF-CERTIFIED TRACK COACHES_. OUR GOAL IS TO BUILD CONFIDENCE, ATHLETIC SKILLS, AND A LOVE FOR RUNNING IN A FUN, STRUCTURED, AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN TO CHILDREN AGES 410. AT THIS TIME, WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT CHILDREN UNDER AGE 4. IF A CHILD UNDER AGE 4 IS REGISTERED, REGISTRATION FEES WILL BE REFUNDED MINUS APPLICABLE REGISTRATION/PROCESSING FEES.
TO HELP CREATE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS, FIT 5 RUNNERS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COMMUNICATE WITH FAMILIES AND DETERMINE IF THE PROGRAM IS THE RIGHT FIT FOR AN ATHLETE. OUR PRIORITY IS TO MAINTAIN A SAFE, SUPPORTIVE, AND ENCOURAGING ENVIRONMENT WHERE EVERY RUNNER CAN GROW, LEARN, AND SUCCEED.
IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER WE WILL CANCEL WITHIN AN HOUR OF PRACTICE TIME. I WILL ALWAYS TRY AND OFFER A MAKE UP DAY; HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED.
