The race kicks off at 7:30 AM sharp, so be sure to arrive early for onsite packet pickup starting at 6:00 AM. Each participant will receive a high-performance race shirt and a flamingo finisher medal, with exciting awards for top finishers and unique costume categories following the race. Kids aged 11 and under can join for free with a registered adult, and they’ll receive fun flamingo swag! COME AND JOIN US FOR THE FIRST-EVER FLAMINGO RUN FOR RESCUES 5K ON MAY 9TH, 2026
Run or walk your way through the beautiful Riverbend Park course while supporting the following local animal rescues-_ PALM BEACH PURRS_, _GREAT DANE RESCUE OF SOUTH FLORIDA_, _KELLYS FOSTERS_ AND _WILD WHISKERS! _
Come dressed in your best PINK or Flamingo-themed outfit, enjoy music and a wonderful community event! Registration includes a high-performance race shirt and flamingo finisher metal.
The Flamingo 5K starts at 7:30 am SHARP! Please allow extra time to park and walk to start line. The road to the race entrance closes at 7:10am for the safety of the runners. Timing is done by AccuChip Race Timing.
There will be an awards ceremony after the race for top finishers, age-group finishers, and Flamingo themed prizes for the largest group, best group costume and most unique individual costume!
KIDS 11 AND UNDER ARE FREE WITH A REGISTERED ADULT. They will not receive a shirt or medal BUT we have fun flamingo swag for them!
Race Day schedule:
Onsite packet pick up 6am-7am (if unable to pick up at PetSmart on Friday, May 8th)
Arrive and park by 7am (follow signs and volunteers in pink reflector vests)
Bathrooms, water, coffee and light refreshments available by the start/finish line
Road to race entrance closes at 7:10am
Race starts at promptly 7:30am
Awards ceremony immediately follows the race.

RACE POLICY (Strollers, dogs, etc.)
In the interest of safety and to address liability concerns, please note that strollers and animals are prohibited on the course. Access to the course is exclusively granted to registered runners and walkers who are wearing the official race bib. Additionally, the use of scooters, bikes, skateboards, and similar devices is strictly prohibited. Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is greatly appreciated. No dogs are allowed at Riverbend Park.
