This 6-week program will help kids of all ages build their running endurance and know when to play it safe and when to turn on the gas! Most sports Arlington kids play require running - either anaerobic bursts or more continuous aerobic efforts - so we will work on building their base.

DETAILS:

* TUESDAYS AT 5:20PM.
* Meeting at WASHINGTON-LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL TRACK. All sessions will involve a warm-up run - either around the school grounds or on the track - followed by a series of laps and/or practice races (50-100m sprints, 200m, 400m). Each child can pick which race(s) they want to participate in each week! We'll have them work on improving their performance over the course of the program.
* Starting JANUARY 27TH and wrapping up on MARCH 3RD.
* Appropriate for kids OF ALL AGES, though parents should expect to participate (at no cost) with younger children.
* PARENTS RUN ALONG FOR FREE - you don't need to register and run at your own risk, of course, but you are encouraged to join!
* The kids will all receive a POST-RUN SNACK at the end of each run.
* All kids will receive a MEDAL AND TROPHY AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM - help your kids work toward that goal!

_**Because we are running in winter conditions, Coach Kate may opt to shift meet-up days within the same week IF the conditions for Tuesday are too frigid/snowy and another day of the week is significantly better. She will communicate such decisions ASAP to all participants._
