Kick off the New Year with a bang at the Flint New Year's Resolution Race on Saturday, December 28, 2024! Join fellow runners and walkers in downtown Flint, Genesee, where you can choose between an exhilarating 8K run or a leisurely 5K walk. Both events start at 10:00 AM at the YMCA, located at 411 E. 3rd Street, Flint, MI 48503. The scenic route features a fully paved course that winds through the charming residential streets of Pierce Park and East Village, making for a perfect day of fun and fitness.
Not only will you enjoy a fantastic race experience, but you'll also support a great cause, as partial proceeds benefit the YMCA of Greater Flint Programs! Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a high-quality printed hoody, and the first 500 registrants will receive medals. With ample parking and facilities available at the YMCA, this event is a great way to challenge yourself and set the tone for a healthy year ahead. Don’t forget to register early to avoid late fees, and we can't wait to see you there!

Date: Saturday, December 28th, 2024 - 10:00AM
STARTING TIME: 8K Run and 5K Walk start at 10:00AM
LOCATION: Downtown Flint YMCA- 411 E. 3rd Street, Flint, MI 48503.
Both races begin and end at the YMCA in downtown Flint - lots of free parking available!
COURSE: Course is 100% paved, along residential streets in Pierce Park and East Village area. The course is accurately measured although not certified. Individual miles will be marked if weather permits.
REGISTRATION: Early Registration ends December 24, 2024.
Remember the holidays, mail/register online early!
After that date, registrants must pay the Late Registration fee.
Race day registration begins at 8:30AM inside the YMCA.
PACKET PICKUP: Packets and Late Registration will be available at Bauman's Running & Walking Shop, 1473 W Hill Road - Flint, MI on the following days;
Thursday, December 26th from 12PM to 6PM
Friday, December 27th - 10AM - 7PM
We cannot guarantee shirts on race day to late registrants.
RIVERBEND STRIDERS: Striders members may deduct $2.00 from the pre-registration fee only.
LATE REGISTRATION: +$5 registering after December 25th. Sweatshirt not guaranteed on race day.
FACILITIES: Restrooms inside the YMCA Available.
SHIRTS/AWARDS: All pre-registered will receive a high quality Printed Hoody. We cannot guarantee shirts on race day to late registrants. Medals for first 500 Registered!
