Folsom Lake is a popular destination for campers and boaters, but its appeal is accentuated by the lake-side trails that meander around much of the 75 miles of lake shore. Our Folsom Lake Trail Run utilizes these well-preserved trails along the south-eastern side of the lake: an out and back course beginning at Folsom Point, the trail then winding its way east, past Falcon Crest to the turn-around at Salmon Falls. This is one of our flatter courses, but there is still plenty of excitement and every race is as challenging as you make it. Our 10K, Half Marathon, 35K and 50K distances allow participants to select the course theyre prepared to tackle and can use this race as a check-mark to evaluate current condition.
