Get ready to lace up your sneakers for the vibrant Freedom Run, taking place from Saturday, July 4th to Monday, July 6th, 2026, in the charming town of Deforest, Dane! This community-centric running event is traditionally celebrated on Independence Day and features a variety of race distances to suit all participants, including a fun-filled one-mile run/walk, a competitive 5K, and an exhilarating 10K run. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a day of physical activity with friends and family, there’s something for everyone!

In addition to the in-person festivities, for those who prefer a virtual option, you can still participate remotely! The event supports local initiatives, with proceeds benefiting the Deforest Area Needs Network and the Deforest High School track and cross-country programs.
