Please note that this registration is specifically for the 5K event and not for the program itself. If you are a coach or participant, no additional registration is needed. Organiser's Description
Girls on the Run is a physical-activity based, positive youth development program for girls in 3rd through 8th grades that provides social-emotional learning through a curriculum that creatively integrates running. St. Louis participants come from 23 counties across eastern Missouri and western Illinois and their season culminates in a 5k experience.
We strive to make the program accessible for all girls by offering scholarships to participants whose families may not be able to cover the full cost of registration. In a typical year, more than 90% of girls receive full or partial scholarships totaling over $500,000.
