THE GIVE 'N GOBBLE 5K THANKSGIVING DAY RACE IS A FUN-FILLED ANNUAL HOLIDAY TRADITION FOR DICKSON COUNTY AND MANY FAMILIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE!
As one of Middle Tennessees largest Thanksgiving Day races, the Give 'N Gobble's 5K Race and One Mile Walk/Run starts at with great fanfare on Historic Main Street in Downtown Dickson and finishes at Holland Park, next to the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum.
For many, the Give 'N Gobble is a fun, family-centered tradition, however the race does attract many professional runners from all over Tennessee and the United States. The Give 'N Gobbles challenging 5K course is officially certified by USA Track and Field, and both the 5K and One Mile races are RFID (chip) timed.
Since the first race in 2014, the Give N Gobble has raised over $431,000 in the spirit of Thanksgiving for the Dickson County Help Center. The Dickson County Help Center provides aid in the form of food, clothing, prescribed medication, temporary shelter and limited financial assistance to the citizens of Dickson County on an emergency basis with love and dignity.
