The event will take place at the RARA Building, conveniently located at 500 East Second St in downtown Rochester, featuring indoor space for warming up and restroom access.
The race kicks off at 2:24 PM, following an out-and-back course along the scenic Clinton River Trail. Participants are encouraged to wear traction devices like Yak Trax if conditions are snowy or icy. Runners will be rewarded with a unique, handmade finisher award crafted by local artisans, delicious pizza, hot cocoa, and water after the race, along with famous white elephant prizes for all finishers. Plus, for those feeling adventurous, there’s the option to sign up for both Goodbye24 and the upcoming Out with the Old - In with the New 5K, making this a thrilling way to celebrate the New Year! Don’t miss your last chance to run out of town in 2024!

OUR GOAL IS TO OFFER A LOW COST, LOW FRILLS LAST CHANCE TO GATHER AND RUN IN 2024. THE EVENT WILL BE LOCATED AT THE RARA BUILDING LOCATED AT 500 EAST SECOND ST IN DOWNTOWN ROCHESTER. INDOOR SPACE TO WARM UP AND USE THE RESTROOM! GOODBYE 24 COURSE- OUT AND BACK RACE ROUTE ON THE CLINTON RIVER TRAIL (IF SNOWY OR ICY CONDITIONS WE RECOMMEND WEARING YAK TRAKS OR SIMILAR TRACTION ON YOUR SHOES)
