Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, including a competitive 5K that starts at 8:45 AM, a 1-mile run for youth aged 13 and under at 8:00 AM, and a fun 400m Kids Race beginning at 8:30 AM.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation, which supports special projects within the Grand Ledge Public Schools. Runners of all ages are welcome to join the fun and receive exciting perks such as finisher medals, technical t-shirts, and the chance to win awards in various age divisions. THE GRAND LEDGE EDUCATION FOUNDATION COMET CHASE 5K WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, JUNE 21, 2025 IN GRAND LEDGE, MICHIGAN. All events begin and end at the Grand Ledge High School Track & Field Facility (1211 Lohne Dr. Grand Ledge, MI 48837).
A 1 mile run for youth 13 & under starts at 8:00 AM and a 400m Kids Race begins at 8:30 AM. Both events will take place on the track.
The 5k race begins at 8:45 AM on the track and travels a well marked course through town before finishing on the track.
All PROCEEDS go to benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation a 501(c)3 organization that works to provide extra funding for special projects within the Grand Ledge Public Schools classrooms.
PRICING: 5k in person - $35 until 4/2/25 then $45. The Virtual 5k - $40 until 4/2/25 then $50. 1 mile kids race and 400 yd dash kids race - $20 until 4/2/25 then $25.

35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
AWARDS & PRIZES:
Post race refreshments for all registrants and chance at race day door prizes
5K RUN/WALK: Awards for the top 3 male and female winners in each division. All participants receive a finisher medal. 5k participants receive a technical t-shirt and draw string bag which are guaranteed to all entries received prior to June 12th. T-shirts available as supplies last after that date.
VIRTUAL 5K RUN/WALK: All participants receive a finisher medal.
