The highlight of the day, the 5K race, will start at 8:45 AM, winding through the scenic streets of Grand Ledge and finishing back on the track.
This year, not only will you enjoy a fantastic running experience, but all proceeds from the event will support the Grand Ledge Education Foundation, which funds special projects within Grand Ledge Public Schools. Organiser's Description
THE GRAND LEDGE EDUCATION FOUNDATION COMET CHASE 5K WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, JUNE 21, 2025 IN GRAND LEDGE, MICHIGAN. All events begin and end at the Grand Ledge High School Track & Field Facility (1211 Lohne Dr. Grand Ledge, MI 48837).
A 1 mile run for youth 13 & under starts at 8:00 AM and a 400m Kids Race begins at 8:30 AM. Both events will take place on the track.
The 5k race begins at 8:45 AM on the track and travels a well marked course through town before finishing on the track.
All PROCEEDS go to benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation a 501(c)3 organization that works to provide extra funding for special projects within the Grand Ledge Public Schools classrooms.
PRICING: 5k in person - $35 until 4/2/25 then $45. The Virtual 5k - $40 until 4/2/25 then $50. 1 mile kids race and 400 yd dash kids race - $20 until 4/2/25 then $25.

5K RUN/WALK: Awards for the top 3 male and female winners in each division. All participants receive a finisher medal. 5k participants receive a technical t-shirt which is guaranteed to all entries received prior to June 11th. T-shirts available as supplies last after that date.
VIRTUAL 5K RUN/WALK: All participants receive a finisher medal. Virtual 5k participants receive a technical t-shirt which is guaranteed to all entries received prior to June 12th. T-shirts available as supplies last after that date. Shirts and medals will be mailed to participants beginning week of June 23rd.
