Organiser's Description
THE GRAND LEDGE EDUCATION FOUNDATION COMET CHASE 5K WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2026 IN GRAND LEDGE, MICHIGAN. All events begin and end at the Brandt-Spalsbury Track & Field Facility (1211 Lohne Dr. Grand Ledge, MI 48837).
A 1 mile run for youth 13 & under starts at 8:00 AM and a 400m Kids Race begins at 8:30 AM. Both events will take place on the track.
The 5k race begins at 8:45 AM on the track and travels a well marked course through town before finishing on the track.
All PROCEEDS go to benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation a 501(c)3 organization that works to provide extra funding for special projects within the Grand Ledge Public Schools classrooms.
PRICING: 5k in person - $35 until 5/30/26 then $45. The Virtual 5k - $40 until 5/30/26 then $50. 1 mile kids race and 400 yd dash kids race - $20 until 5/30/26 then $25.
