Join us for the 39th Annual Grant G. Talbott Road Race! We hope you will help us celebrate this milestone race and OCTCs anniversary by ensuring student success. Proceeds from this race support the Grant G. Talbott Scholarship that assists students experiencing dire financial need. Grant G. Talbott, III served as a counselor at OCTC for 10 years and coordinated the OCTC Road Race from 1998-2007. A mentor and friend to many, Grant will long be remembered for his commitment to education and student success. This run-walk is committed to honoring his legacy.

Race Day Registration begins Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 7:30am at:

Complimentary shuttles are available to take racers to the start line at:

The last shuttle departs from OCTC to Legion Park at 8:40am. The race starts at 9am.



CHECK-IN:

Race day check-in and registration begins at 7:30am on OCTCs Main Campus. Runners are encouraged to park at the main campus. Complimentary shuttles are available to take you from OCTC to Legion Park where the race begins. The last shuttle departs from OCTC to Legion Park at 8:40am. All pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Late entries are not guaranteed shirt size preference. _TO ENSURE YOU RECEIVE A T-SHIRT IN YOUR ROAD RACE PACKET, PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE THEIR REGISTRATION BY OCTOBER 12, 2025._





START:

THIS IS A POINT TO POINT COURSE.

The race begins at 9am at Legion Park on East Byers Avenue; the route follows Veach Road to the main campus of OCTC. Race starts at 9am

FINISH:

The race finishes at OCTCs Main Campus.





DOOR PRIZES AND $250 DRAWING:

Door prizes and a $250 cash drawing will be awarded when the last finisher completes the course. Trophies and awards will immediately follow. All entrants must register and be present to win the door prizes.

Overall Male and Female finishers, Masters (40+) and Grandmasters (50+), the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ (Special OCTC Student and Faculty Awards)

Entry Fee: Early Bird pricing through September 12, 2025 is $25. Regular registration is $35 through race morning.

Family of 4: $80 (+$5 each add. Family member, all entries must be submitted at the same time, by Oct. 6th)
