Join us for the exhilarating Greatest 4th in the North 5K & 10K on Friday, July 4th, 2025, in the picturesque Lake City, Missaukee! This vibrant event supports our dedicated Lake City Trojan students and athletes, with all proceeds benefiting Lake City Boosters. Participants can choose between a fast and flat 5K route that winds past the stunning Lake Missaukee and through a festively decorated downtown or challenge themselves with a scenic 10K, which features a delightful half-mile loop through beautiful woodlands on hard-packed dirt trails.
Families and young runners are invited to join in the fun with the 2K Fun Run, perfect for all ages, as it takes you through Missaukee County Park and along the charming beach boardwalk. Race check-in is available on Thursday, July 3rd, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and again on race day, July 4th, from 6:00 to 7:00 AM. The 5k course is a fast, flat route winding past beautiful Lake Missaukee and through downtown Lake City decked in its patriotic finest! The 10k course also includes a 1/2 mile scenic woodlands loop on hard-packed dirt trails. The 2K Fun Run welcomes participants of all ages, especially the littlest racers to run through Missaukee County Park and along the beach's boardwalk.
Race check-in: THURSDAY, JULY 3; 5:00 TO 7:00 PM in the City Park behind the Lake City offices and between Pancho Villa and Hammer's restaurants: 106 Main St, Lake City, MI 49651
