Get ready for an exhilarating day of endurance and camaraderie at the Hearts Desire 6-Hour Endurance Run on Saturday, May 3, 2025! This exciting event takes place at the Herrin, Illinois Sports Complex, located on Bandyville Road. Runners of all ages will have the chance to test their limits on a scenic and flat 1.3-mile paved loop course, competing to complete the most laps within the six-hour timeframe.
Check-in begins bright and early at 6:00 am, with the race kicking off at 7:00 am and continuing until 1:00 pm. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers, as well as the top three in various age categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over, ensuring that every participant has a chance to shine. All runners will receive a stylish Hearts Desire t-shirt, and refreshments including drinks, soup, and snacks will be available to keep your energy up throughout the day. Join us in Herrin for a memorable event filled with excitement, community spirit, and the joy of running!

Registration/Check-In: 6:00 am - 7:00 am
Race hours: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
The start/finish will be located on the south side of the complex
Loop course is relatively flat, paved pedestrian trail 1.3-miles long
Runners completing the most loops in six hours will earn awards.
Awards will be given to the top three overall and to the top three in the following age groups for both genders:
19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
All participants will receive a Hearts Desire t-shirt
Drinks, soup, and snacks will be available at the HQ tent near the start
