Get ready for an exhilarating day of endurance running at the Hearts Desire 6-Hour Endurance Run on Saturday, May 2, 2026! This exciting event will take place at the Herrin Sports Complex, located on Bandyville Road in Herrin, Williamson. Beginning bright and early with registration from 6:00 am to 7:00 am, the race will kick off at 7:00 am and run until 1:00 pm.
Participants will tackle a flat, paved 1.3-mile loop course, aiming to complete the most loops within the six-hour time frame. Runners of all ages will have the chance to compete for awards, with honors going to the top three overall finishers, as well as the top three in various age groups ranging from 19 & under to 70 & over. Each participant will receive a stylish Hearts Desire t-shirt, and refreshments including drinks, soup, and snacks will be available at the headquarters tent near the start. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, challenge, and celebration of the running spirit!

Registration/Check-In: 6:00 am - 7:00 am
Race hours: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
The start/finish will be located on the south side of the complex
Loop course is relatively flat, paved pedestrian trail 1.3-miles long
Runners completing the most loops in six hours will earn awards.
Awards will be given to the top three overall and to the top three in the following age groups for both genders:
19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
All participants will receive a Hearts Desire t-shirt
Drinks, soup, and snacks will be available at the HQ tent near the start
