Helene Cody Cranbury 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

This event honors the memory of Helene Cody, who passed away from a brain aneurysm on her 16th birthday in 2008. Helene had planned to revive the Cranbury Day 5K that had been previously discontinued as a way to combine her love of distance running and community service. Her classmate hosted the first Helene Cody Cranbury 5K after her passing in 2008, and ever since, the Helene Cody Foundation has used the race to bring the community together and fund youth service projects and scholarships. 
T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by August 7th! T-shirts will be given to registrants while supplies last for those who register after August 7th. 
There are 2 packet pickup nights this year! The first is on Wednesday, September 4th at the Cranbury branch of Princeton Soup and Sandwich Company from 4-6 PM. The second is on Thursday, September 5th at Fleet Feet Princeton (Princeton Running Company) from 5-7 PM. Those who have preregistered may pick up their T-shirt/bottle and race bib at this event to avoid the lines on race day. ​You may still register the morning of the race at Heritage Park in Cranbury. 1 Mile: $30, registration from 7:30-8:00 AM. 5K: $35, registration from 7:30-8:30 AM. 
All proceeds go to the Helene Cody Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity with the mission of inspiring youth to volunteer, to better their communities and themselves.
