Kicking off at 9 AM in the back of East Greenwich High School, this exciting event is dedicated to supporting local individuals facing familial death or illness, and this year, it’s held in honor of Michael Friedman, who is on a journey to recovery after a traumatic skiing injury.
Participants can enjoy a beautiful 5K trail while contributing to a worthy cause, with all proceeds benefiting Spaulding Rehab and Journey Forward for new equipment crucial to Michael's rehabilitation. The first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, and awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as to the best performers in each division. Organiser's Description
Helping Hands of EG is a 501(c)(3) committed to supporting local individuals facing familial death or illness. On Sunday, October 19th we will be hosting our 5K Trail Fun Run, starting at 9am in the back of East Greenwich High School. This years race will honor Michael Friedman. Michael had a traumatic skiing injury last winter. Michael's wish is to have all the proceeds from this event go to Spaulding Rehab and Journey Forward for new equipment. Both have been instrumental in his goal to get back on his feet. We hope you can come out and support this great event.
