This exciting event celebrates the incredible work of Hero Dogs, Inc. and is a fantastic opportunity for puppy raisers and volunteers to come together in support of our furry friends. Participants can choose to run or walk the 5K9 course while enjoying the beautiful scenery of DC.
This year, we're thrilled to offer an in-person option once again, bringing the community together for a day of fun and camaraderie. Don't forget to register your own pup for just $10, which includes a stylish camo Hero Dogs Bandana! Please remember that only Hero Dogs—service dogs, therapy dogs, skilled home companions, and service dogs in training—are permitted at the event. Other dogs can still register to receive the bandana but will not be allowed at the venue. Mark your calendars for registration deadlines: March 15 for Priority Registration, March 31 for Early Bird, and April 25 for Regular Registration. Puppy raisers and volunteers for Hero Dogs, Inc. are excited to present the 4th Annual Hero Dogs 5K9, our 2nd year with an IN-PERSON option this year hosted at Congressional Cemetery in Washington DC. We learned a lot from last year's event and are excited to be back and better than ever!
This year we are also offering registration for your furry 4-legged friends - Add-on Registration for Pups is $10 and includes a camo Hero Dogs Bandana! Please note: Only Hero Dogs will be permitted at the in-person event (service dogs, therapy dogs, skilled home companions and service dogs in training). Other dogs may register to receive the bandana giveaway but will not be allowed at Congressional.
