Organiser's Description
Join us for this 5K and fun run to benefit the Sharp County Sheriff's Foundation and The CALL in Sharp and Independence Counties. Make plans to dress as your favorite superhero and come out to help break the stigma surrounding SUD/AUD as well as show support for individuals and families impacted by foster care in our community.
Start/Finish:
The race will begin at 9 AM.
The race starts and finishes in the Cave City Park.
Free Kids Fun Run following 5K (approximately 10:00 AM)
Packet Pick Up:
Race day packet pickup will be at Cave City Park starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 11.
Cost: $30
Race day registration will be available from 8:00-8:30 AM.
Parking:
Available on the grassy lot across from the Cave City Park.
Adverse Weather Policy:
We expect our events to happen rain or shine. No one, including the Race Director, wants to make changes to an event on race day. However, the safety of our participants is of paramount concern. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the Race Director, in communication with the local law enforcement and the city, may delay the event, cancel the event, or make changes to the race course.
Adverse Weather Definition:
The event may be delayed or canceled due to Tornado Warning, Tornado Watch, Thunderstorm, Heavy Rain, or any other extreme weather condition. Light to moderate rain is not considered an Adverse Weather Condition.
Cancellation Policy:
If the 10/11/25 race is canceled, all entries will be deferred to the following year. Sorry, no refunds.
