Join the Clermont community for the Fifth Annual Honoring the Fallen 5K on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the picturesque Downtown Clermont, Lake County. This spirited event, which is now completely sold out, pays tribute to the nearly 141 law enforcement officers who lost their lives in 2024. All proceeds from this heartfelt race will benefit Concerns of Police Survivors and the Code 4 Initiative, providing critical support to officers and their families.
Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K course starting and finishing at Suncreek Brewery, with a well-marked out-and-back trail offering two hydration stations. The day will kick off with a pre-race ceremony at 5:00 PM, followed by the race start at 5:30 PM. Participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere, complete with custom finisher medals, complimentary post-race snacks, and a draft beer for those 21 and over. Awards will be given for top finishers across various categories, including male and female overall, masters, and age groups, along with team awards that celebrate camaraderie and competition. Join the Clermont Police Department as they host their Fifth Annual Clermont Honoring the Fallen 5K in the heart of beautiful Downtown Clermont. This race, formerly known as the Conrad Buckley Legacy Scholarship 5k, will be honoring the nearly 141 deaths of law enforcement officers in the line of duty in 2024. All race proceeds and donations will go CONCERNS OF POLICE SURVIVORS, and CODE 4 INITIATIVE which provides assistance to officers and their families in a time of need.
The course start and finish are at Suncreek Brewery, our valued sponsor! Participants will then take the trail to an out and back for 1.5 miles. An aid station will be set up mid-course to allow participants two chances at hydrating.
Packet pickup will be at Dash Sports, Friday, February 21st 2:00-6:00 p.m. & race day at Suncreek Brewery 4:00-5:00 p.m. RACE PACKETS NOT PICKED UP PRE RACE WILL NOT BE HELD. Please do not message us post race asking for your swag.

Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each participant. Upon creating the team, the first 3 registrants will pay full price, once the team minimum of 4 members has been reached, the previous 3 registrations will receive an automatic $5 refund. All registrations to the same team after that will already reflect the discount.
Awards will be announced around 6:30pm. Categories are top Male and Female overall, Male and Female Masters, and top 3 Male and Female in 5-year age groups, starting with 9 and under up to 75 and over. You may log in to our results page to view the results post-race as participants finish.
Team Awards!! That's right, it's time for bragging rights so get your office, team, club or gang ready to lace up those sneaks and hit the trail. There will be an award for the fastest team (Average of top 3 times) and most well represented team (team with the most participants). An award for the fastest LEO team and most well represented LEO team as well
This event does not allow dogs on the course, near the start or finish line. If you have a service dog please contact us ahead of time. If you are running with a stroller please start towards the back of the pack.

The virtual 5K race may be completed any time between registration and two weeks after race day. You may log into your Run Signup account to register your results up to two weeks after the live race date. Packets will automatically be shipped within two weeks after the race. Virtual participants will receive a link to their virtual bib ahead of time. You may choose to pick up your packet in person but your bib will not have a timing chip. Feel free to print it to run your virtual race anywhere you want, post a picture of yourself and tag us @flodashevents #honoringthefallen5k
