In addition to the 5K, participants can also join the 1 Mile event, making it accessible for everyone, including families with strollers (please start at the rear). For the little ones, there’s a fun-filled Kids Dash for children aged 8 and under. All registration proceeds contribute to the Team Member Emergency Assistance Fund, ensuring that every step taken supports a meaningful cause. Organiser's Description
The BayCare Team Member 5K is offered to BayCare team members and their friends and family. The course starts and finishes at 2985 Drew St., Clearwater, FL in the parking lot of the BayCare Health System offices (BSO). A beautiful run/walk through Kapok Park takes you through park scenery, over waterways and by the softball fields. The Kids Dash is an untimed event for kids 8 and under.
All registration entries go towards the Team Member Emergency Assistance Fund.
In the 5K and 1 Mile events, strollers are allowed to start in the rear. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS TO THE EXPO SITE OR ON THE COURSE.

Kids Dashes include: 1-2 years old 20-Meter Dash 3-4 years old 50-Meter Dash 5-6 years old 100-Meter Dash 7-8 years old 200-Meter Dash The event will have a rolling start, with the 200-Meter Dash first, followed by the 100-Meter Dash and lastly the Diaper Dashlocated near the Start/Finish Line. -

Cant make it to the onsite Annual Team Member 5K on April 2nd? This year, you can participate from home! Sign up today and then between now and April 6th, run or walk 1 mile or a 5K (3.1 miles). Your $5 registration fee will be donated to the BayCare Team Member Assistance program. During the week of April 1, you will receive a brief email survey to confirm that you completed the distance and confirm your location. All participants who complete the survey by April 10 will receive a BayCare Annual Team Member 5K t-shirt and be entered in the drawing for a BayCare swag bag! (Note: Shirts will be available for pickup at convenient locations throughout BayCare. Upon completion of the survey, you will receive an email of where you can pick up your t-shirt.)
