Join FDEM Executive Director Kevin Guthrie for the FIRST-EVER HURRIGAINS 5K GLOW RUN on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2024, at the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM). This nighttime, glow-in-the-dark 5K will help spread the word about the Florida Disaster Foundation and its mission to serve Floridians.
PACKET PICK-UP WILL BEGIN AT 6:30 P.M. AND THE RACE WILL BEGIN AT 8:00 P.M.
Start and Finish Line Activities will take place at FDEM in Southwood. Bring the family and your four-legged friends to run or walk with us and help raise funds to provide direct assistance, funding, and support in disaster response, recovery, and relief efforts for natural emergencies.
REGISTRATION
Pre-registration closes Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 5:59 p.m. EST
$25: Pre-registration with T-shirt (First 100 registrants are guaranteed shirt)
$35: Onsite Registration
RACE DAY CHECK-IN
Participants can check in and receive their t-shirts (if applicable) on race day beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the FDEM building in Southwood. Packet pick-up will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the race will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Challenge Coins will be awarded to the top male and female participants in the following age categories:
* 14 years old and younger;
* 15-29 years old;
* 30-49 years old; and
* 50 years old and older.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Florida Disaster Foundation, which directly contributes to the immediate recovery of communities impacted by disasters and provides needed support where federal assistance stops.
