The Indian Mountain Miners Mile is a serious but family friendly event. The race will be held on Monday, September 7, 2026 at Indian Mountain State Park. Starting time is 9:00am. You can pick up packets on race day between 8:00am and 8:45am. You can register the day of the race as well between 8:00am and 8:45am. Last day to register to ensure a race day t-shirt is September 1st. This race will be a 5K Run/Walk event. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for each age division in the 5K Run only. This is a level course where you have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the park and the historic downtown streets. Water stations will be set up and refreshments provided after the event .Whether you are aiming to crush a personal record, logging miles or enjoying a scenic morning walk with your friends or family this event is perfect for you. The course is mostly level making it easy for beginners or strollers.This event will begin and end inside the park. So lace up your sneakers, invite your friends, and let's make this an unforgettable morning!

The Friends of Indian Mountain State Park would like to dedicate this years race in memory of: John Davis, who was the first president of friends group. John passed away on June 10, 2026.
