Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving in style at the Iron Mountain | Kingsford Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thursday, November 26th, 2026! Taking place in the beautiful Iron Mountain, Dickinson, this spirited event is the perfect way to gather your family and friends before indulging in your holiday feast. The race starts and finishes at the YMCA - Dickinson Center, winding through scenic neighborhood streets. Participants can look forward to sweet long-sleeve shirts, a lively post-run celebration with music, and delicious food to enjoy after the race.
This family-friendly event is open to all ages, with awards for the top three male and female runners, as well as the top three boys and girls in the youth category (12 and under). Don’t forget to show your Turkey Day spirit, as there will be pies awarded for the most festive participants! Strollers and furry friends are welcome, making it a true community celebration. Packet pick-up will be available on race morning from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m. at the Northern Lights YMCA. Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and holiday cheer on Thanksgiving Day!

Scheduled for Turkey Day, Thursday, November 26th, 2026, the Iron Mountain | Kingsford Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk is all about bringing families together before you feast. Sweet shirts, food, music and post-run party!
The Iron Mountain | Kingsford TURKEY TROT is a race you won't want to miss!
The 5K Run/Walk will start and finish at the YMCA - Dickinson Center, located in Iron Mountain, MI, and runs on beautiful neighborhood streets, also featuring sweet long-sleeve shirts.
Awards will be given to the Top 3 overall Male and Female runners, as well as the Top 3 Boys/Girls out of the YOUTH/12 and younger race. Gobble.
The IMK Turkey Trot will also feature music and FUN!
