Get ready to celebrate the holiday season with the inaugural Island Christmas Half Marathon & 5k on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, in the charming town of Rexburg, Madison. This exciting event, sponsored by the BYU-Idaho Alumni Rexburg Chapter, invites students, alumni, and families to join in on a festive day filled with fun and fitness. Participants in the Half Marathon will enjoy a rewarding experience, receiving a stylish t-shirt and a medal for their accomplishment, while 5k runners will also receive a medal and have the option to purchase a t-shirt.

In addition to the exhilarating races, every student runner will automatically be entered into a raffle for one of three $500 scholarships, with extra entries available for each guest they bring along!
