Participants can choose from three race distances: the Half Marathon at 7:45 AM, the 10K at 8:00 AM, or the 5K at 8:15 AM. Plus, families and friends can join in the fun with a Family Fun Run scheduled for 9:45 AM.
Taking place at Faction Brewery, this year's race is extra special as it includes the addition of the Half Marathon distance, allowing runners to earn a unique "Half and Half" hoodie by completing both the Spring Half and the Island Festival Half. Enjoy a vibrant post-race expo with music from DJ Mike, delicious food, and awards for age group winners, all while supporting the Alameda Hospital Foundation. WE KICK OFF THE ISLAND RACE SERIES WITH A FUNDRAISER FOR THE ALAMEDA HOSPITAL FOUNDATION. 2026 IS SPECIAL BECAUSE WE HAVE ADDED A HALF MARATHON TO THIS EVENT
RUN BOTH THE SPRING HALF AND THE ISLAND FESTIVAL HALF AND RECEIVE A CUSTOMER "HALF AND HALF" HOODIE.
THIS RACE WILL TAKE PLACE AT FACTION BREWERY AND FEATURE ALL THE BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, FLATS COURSE AND POST RACE EXPO THAT YOU ARE USED TO AT OUR SEPTEMBER EVENT.

ALL OF THE RUNS WILL SHOWCASE PARTS OF ALAMEDA POINT, NEW PARKS ON THE WEST END OF ALAMEDA, THE USS HORNET AND COASTAL TRAILS. THE COURSE IS FLAT AND FAST WITH THE 10K RETURNING TO BE PART OF THE USATF 10K CIRCUIT.
THERE WILL ALSO BE MUSIC FROM DJ MIKE, FOOD AND AND AGE GROUP WINNER AWARDS PRESENTED BY BURNEIKIS LAW. COME ENJOY A FUN LOCAL RACE WITH A COMMUNITY FEEL, AND SUPPORT A GREAT BENEFICIARY IN THE ALAMEDA HOSPITAL FOUNDATION.
