Welcome to the Jingle All the 5k all-ages holiday race in support of the Charles A. Melton Center! This is a family-friendly, festive, fun run designed with a hearty dose of holiday cheer. All proceeds from the race entry fee go towards providing civic, arts, recreation, and education (CARE) programs to underserved families in the West Chester Area. The race takes place across the beautiful East Goshen Township Park, with both a 5k run course and a 2k walk. The top 50 people to sign up will also receive a festive t-shirt for their generosity! Gear up and show out to support a great cause and spread holiday cheer in the West Chester Community!



Parking:
We will have volunteers directing parking for tomorrow morning. If you are heading EAST on Paoli Pike, you can use either the first or the second entrance. The second entrance, is closer to the start, but will have limited parking. You will not be able to drive by the tennis courts in between parking lots so please plan accordingly.

Course:

Please see the course map, here, The course for the 5K is basically three loops around the park. The 2K loop is one loop. Both courses will be marked and will have course marshalls.

Packet Pick Up:

Packet Pick Up will begin at 8 am at the Veterans Pavilion. This is on the North East side of the park. Restrooms will be open. We will have some race day registration available for last minute sign ups.

Pets/Strollers:

The course is mostly on a paved path. However, it is somewhat narrow. Animals and strollers are welcome at the events but we encourage you to either participate in the 2K walk or stay at the back of the pack.

Starting Line:

Both events will start at 9 a.m. Please plan to be be at the starting line by 8:50 a.m. Faster runners please be at the front and joggers towards the back.

At the end of the race, there will be some refreshments and goodies for participants! Please see the prize categories below:

This event is completely organized by two young individuals from West Chester East High School as a part of their DECA project. They have spent a considerable amount of time and effort planning the success of this event for the Melton Center! Thank you for supporting them and your community!
